WHAT IS AUTOMATED PARKING SYSTEM?
Automated car Parking is a method of automatically parking and retrieving cars that typically use a system of pallets and lifts. By parking cars in this way, the floor area and volume of the system can be used much more efficiently. The intention is to compact more cars in the same space, reduce the space needed to park the same number of cars or allow car parking where previously there would have been no room. Automated car parks can be situated above or below ground or a combination of both, and designed to accommodate any number of cars.

WHAT IS THE HISTORY OF AUTOMATED PARKING SYSTEM?
Mechanical car parking was first introduced in Europe and parts of Asia during the mid - 1950 as a solution to buildings in overcrowded cities with limited parking space. They were found to be suitable in both new developments and in retrofit development of historical buildings where space, noise and environmental consideration posed major concern. Automated Parking solution were soon adopted by Japan and USA and spread to Australia, Southeast Asia, China, Philippines and Singapore in the early 80's. Several hundred automated systems were built worldwide between the early seventies and the late 1980s.

DO WE NEED TO BUILD SPECIAL STRUCTURE/ FOUNDATION TO INSTALL THIS SYSTEM?
This system is an independent free standing structure which can be installed indoor as well as outdoor. We provide details of foundation for installing the system Foundation needs to be provided in consultation with the structural engineer. For longer life it is advisable to cover the system with a canopy.

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPARES TO SERVICE?
We usually carry sufficient spares at our central ware house to service all systems.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE?
Yes, Cars can be retrieved but for parking you require power so power backup needs to be provided with a generator.

CAN MUV'S/SUV'S BE PARKED IN THIS SYSTEM?
All systems are designed to park standard cars. SUV's and MUV'S contribute around 3% of the market and hence we design 10% space for SUV'S on surface parking. But if required, solution can be provided for MUV'S and SUV'S in the system.

DO WE REQUIRE PERMISSION TO INSTALL THIS SYSTEM? DO YOU HELP US IN GETTING PERMISSION?
The normal procedure which is applicable to get permission from Municipal Corporation for conventional parking system is applicable for automated car parking system. We work as a catalyst.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF BREAKDOWN?
We usually train few people at site to handle small emergencies. Our maintenance team is only a telephone call away.

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AREA REQUIRED PER MODULE?
There are more than 14 Systems available and depending on space available, the system is designed. Most of the systems are multiples of 6.2 meters. X 2.5 meters. Minimum drive way of 6 meters is required for smooth parking.

WHAT TYPE OF CARS CAN YOUR SYSTEM ACCOMMODATE?
Our parking system is design to accommodate standard vehicles having length of 5300mm width 2150mm height of 1550mm and weight of 1800Kg. But if the customer requires, we can design system for specific car dimension.

DO WE REQUIRE TRAINED PEOPLE TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM?
The System is user friendly and any person with minimum instruction can operate the system at site. We also train people to operate the system.

WHAT IS THE POWER CONSUMPTION?
Power consumption begins from 15 paisa per parking or retrieval, depending on the system selected by the customer.

WHAT IS THE LIFE OF THE SYSTEM?
In Korea this system is being used for the last fifty years. If the system is maintained and used as specified in User's Manual, the system can give service for life time.
